Specialist Methodology
How our expert tutors for kids & beginners teach 1-on-1 classes
Teaching a 5- or 8-year-old raised in the UK, USA, Canada, or the Gulf requires a completely different skill set than lecturing adults. Tutors in our Children’s Faculty Wing are selected not only for their Tajweed accuracy, but for their warmth, vocal encouragement, and ability to explain Arabic sounds in simple, relatable English.
Instead of asking children to memorize page layouts by rote, our kids’ tutors use interactive digital Qaida boards, colour-coded syllable breakdowns, and gentle repetition so children learn to recognize and connect any Quranic word with confidence.
Every session reserves the final 5 to 7 minutes for oral memorization of Surah Al-Fatihah, short Surahs from Juz ‘Amma, essential Salah steps, and daily Islamic manners (Adab), followed by a course completion certificate at the end of each stage.
Structure of a 30-Minute Live Session
Warm Greeting, Opening Dua & Sabqi Check
Reviewing yesterday’s Qaida grid or short Surah lines so the child starts the lesson feeling confident and successful.
Interactive Screen-Shared Qaida or Mushaf Reading
Step-by-step practice on new letters or verses with live pointer guidance, throat/tongue articulation checks, and positive praise.
Salah / Masnoon Dua Practice & Parent Progress Note
Oral practice of daily Duas and prayer recitations, plus logging exact homework notes for parents.
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Surah Ta-Ha (20:114)
Teaching focus: Clear letter articulation (Makharij), single-beat Harakat timing, and joyful confidence.
